Not a very well known character. Humphrey used to be part of the Mickey Mouse classic cartoons! This song is very familiar to those who have watched Disney VHS tapes released in the early to mid 90's. It was also the theme song used for the Disney Home Video tapes with Mickey, Donald, Goofy episodes from the 40's throughout 50's in one of many VHS tape collections. The link below shows the video where the song was originally introduced. The song seems to be the theme of a very underrated and forgotten character. Humphrey has a lot of similarity with the now defunct Hanna Barbara's Yogi Bear cartoons. Humphrey predates Yogi Bear and could be inspiration. He returned again in Mickey's house of mouse.
